From what I've read, the school wasn't even going to acknowledge any of this, until a parent went to the media. I wouldn't believe anything this Dr. Mechtler has to say.
by the way, it has not even been shown to prevent cervical cancer or the lesions. It's all a lie!
The vaccine is being touted by Dr. Gupta, First Lady Laura Bush, and nonprofit groups funded by Merck as a means of preventing cervical cancer. In fact, however, its clinical trials never tested for preventing cervical cancer. The vaccine was tested for preventing pre cancerous lesions associated with two strains of Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted disease. Since these lesions can take 12 to 20 years to develop into cervical cancer and the clinical trials lasted less than five years, medical experts warn that the jury is still out on what impact this vaccine might have on cervical cancer rates.
The results of Merck's clinical trials showed the efficacy of the vaccine was "modest," even for preventing pre cancerous lesions, among a general population of young women, according to the New England Journal of Medicine. (2)
This might have been enough to kill the idea of mass inoculations with the vaccine had Merck released its final clinical trial data to peer reviewed journals in a timely fashion. Instead, it launched three ad and marketing campaigns that fostered the false impression that this vaccine had been proven to prevent cervical cancer along with a public relations blitz that stretched from California to Paris and involved payments to journalists. Only then, after the Food and Drug Administration had approved the drug, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had recommended it for broad use, and questions grew in the press as to why this "miracle breakthrough" had not been peer reviewed, did Merck finally release its late phase trial data CNN's Sanjay Gupta, Laura Bush and the Marketing of Merck's Gardasil - Doctoring the News by Pam Martens
If this was a real investigation, we would have panels of doctors brainstorming and running tests - instead we have a couple specially selected spokesman, spinning.
Nobody is specifically blaming 9/11, geeze you guys like to SPIN!!
The fact is that people do develop symptoms when they see someone else having them and often it's caused by factores IN THEIR OWN LIFE that they are stressing about. It's historically proven to be a fact.
Now, whether this is what is happening in LeRoy or not remains to be seen. What we know is that it's NOT Gardasil but for some reason that's all anyone wants it to be...or some vaccine or drug that everyone is covering up with a massive conspiracy from the local Dr. to the CDD and beyond. THAT kind of thinking is contagious too in case you haven't noticed.
I'm think if we see more, in different places, it's most likely mass hysteria or whatever you want to call it. But people are looking into this, not just "people paid off by big pharma" so let's just see if there is anything local causing it.

You completely missed the point that was being made. People did not have a sudden onset of ticks after 911, and that was a bit more stressful than a nap.
I am of that opinion. Chilhood diseases are necessary to protect us from more serious diseases in later life. They are nature's immunization program.
That is a crock of crap! Having measles (or measles vaccine) will protect you from. . . measles. Have chickenpox (or chickenpox vaccine) will protect against. . . . . . chickenpox. And so on. None of these diseases will protect against anything else.

What shear utter nonsense... even vaccine manufacturers wouldn't make such ridiculous claim.
Not one vaccine ever produced will guarantee life time immunity ... not one. Furthermore, not one will even guarantee immunity for any duration of time.
The body's immune response to natural infection incorporates several mechanisms ... not just antibody response. And those mechanisms are still not fully understood, which probably explains why they cannot duplicate life long immunity inferred naturally, via vaccines.
To make matters even worse, many are suspecting that the massive increases in chronic diseases being seen today may be due to the circumvention of these infectious diseases via vaccines ... as it has become more clear that such childhood infectious diseases help to strengthen the body's immune system.
Some postulate that what we are actually doing is replacing common childhood infectious diseases with the more debilitating chronic diseases by circumventing those infectious ones ... while still not achieving lifetime immunity ... only delaying those diseases that may occur later in life, when they are far more dangerous.
This entire post filled with nothing but lies.
Vaccines produce natural immunity. Like the kind you get from getting actual rotten diseases, vaccine induced immunity can wear off. Those mechanisms are largely understood. Chicken pox, measles, mumps and all the other crappy diseases people would get if they didn't vaccinate don't strengthen the immune system. On the contrary they make people sick and often deprive them of vitally important aspects of life including sight, hearing and brain cells. People today are far healthier than they were before vaccines were common. They're far less likely to be blind, deaf or mentally retarded from vaccine preventable illnesses.
Really, pick up a biology textbook. Until you do, stop posting on this subject. You're only demonstrating your lack of understanding of it.

If you have had the disease then you do have lifetime immunity.
If you knew anything this subject (which you don't) you would know that natural immunity wears off as well for certain diseases such as pertussis. If you used some brain cells you would realize that reasonable people prefer to have a single shot to make sure they remain immune to whooping cough rather than spend weeks coughing up a lung.
Really, again all of this is easily proven and not in dispute. Go take a biology class and stop posting on this subject until you've managed to pass it.

You haven't proved anything, you don't even provide links to back up what you say. What is your background, that you think you can be so condescending to people? I am asking what your professional experience is, and why we should take anything you say as true.
Even Katiana shows a bit more restraint, and she was a triage nurse, so we know where she is coming from.
Who are you?
