What would be the reason for them on the mural?? They represent nothing about America. Noticed you didn't comment on, no, "Irish Parks"!!
there are what 67 murals? with probably more then 1,000 images total. there are maybe 5 total pics of che and castro. it is hardly the main theme of ANY of the murals. not all art is flowers and bunnies. why so focused on 1/16th of the murals totals then the entirety?
Irish murals, sure if they were public I wouldn't have a problem at all. not sure what you asked me about them but I would have no objection if the artist wanted to put in ugly pictures of the potato famine, or shocking pics of children starving or someone painted bloody sunday.
everyone will agree hitler was the worst. if someone were painting history of the war, the story really couldn't be told without hitler, doesn't mean they are glorifying him.
Their in the mural, why shouldn't it be brought up. Just because Libs find it fine to have killers and oppressors in the art work. Doesn't mean others find those people, not a part of California's heritage and most defiantly not a part of America's history.
We as taxpayers should decide where our money goes. Another reason, for earmarks, to be taken out of bills.
We don't have a direct democracy, we have a representative democracy. If you want to vote on what gets funded, run for office.

The original link was not a news source. It was a right-wing site whose purpose is to attack anything 'liberal' and since there really isn't anything wrong with restoring art, they had to reform the conversation about Che and Castro, who are nothing but a footnote in big picture (pun intended) of this story.

Pretty much. I'd rep you, but system says not yet, so I leave you this:
