i just read one interesting observation of the hearing from someone who was there. none of the plaintiffs ever made a claim that obama was born outside of the US.

They just showed Susan Daniels who admitted in a court, that she violated the law, and committed a crime, by knowingly lying about show she was, using a database that expressly states that you must be the PERSON who is looking for the information on yourself (she lied by saying that SHE was President Obama).

Because at the time, SSN's were assigned by the person's mailing zip code, not by their place of birth (seeing as many people prior to 1980 didn't get SSN's for their children, many people moved prior to getting an SSN).
And as explained:
96814 = Honolulu Zip Code
06814 = Danbury, CT Zip Code
And these were assigned by people who manually inputted numbers into a database. It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see that the person who entered the zip code as 06814 instead of 96814 by mistyping the zip code. seeing as how close the 0 is to the 9.
