Ever heard of a lunchbox?

Why would anyone object to the Government serving healthier food to their kids, if their kids are going to eat Government food?
The school lunch program was created in part to give farmers a market for their products.

We use whole milk here, too. And you are right - it's best fresh from the cow, a rare treat for us. These days, I find the organic dairy products have the best flavor.

You're the one who needs to get educated. Then again we can't expect too much in the way of education or knowledge from a 19 year old these days, now can we?

The vast majority of human beings on the planet are lactose intolerant. Read up on it.

Whoop-de-do for you if you aren't and can drink the stuff without getting sick.

There are people who can smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and not get lung cancer too. Doesn't mean it's a good idea for everyone.

Learn the facts before you post nonsense.

Yep. Government will tell your kids what they should eat and drink because obviously parents don't know anything. I heard that soon they will be asking you to turn over your kids to the government as soon as they are born, so that the government can raise them in the best way possible. Parents suck. Government knows best!
So they are replacing milk with milk.................

The school cafeteria where I work offers the students fat free milk, 2 percent, fat free chocolate, fat free strawberry, and lactose free. It comes as part of the main line lunch. They have the option to buy flavored and unflavored water, assorted iced teas, lemonade, etc., but these are extra.

Oh, yes, the cafeteria has two water fountains. Some of the students just prefer to buy the bottled.

Yes and it shows the incompetence of government agents. They don't realize that most of the vitamins in milk are fat soluble vitamins. Remove the fat and you remove the vitamins.

Not to mention that lack of knowledge that growing bodies and brains absolutely need the essential fatty acids, brain cells and neurons require diets with fat included.

The amount of sugar in low-fat or skimmed milk is not much different then whole milk. 1g. If the only substance going into your body was milk, the small amount of fat content wouldn't make any difference. Hopefully one is not on a milk only diet.
