If you believe in a separation of Church and State, or that religious symbols should be kept off of government property, shouldn't "In God We Trust" be removed from our currency?
I do not believe in a total seperation of church and state, to the point that someone's beliefs will still be their beliefs whether they are elected to political office or not. So since Christians are still the majority in America we should still have God on our money, I also feel that He should be in our government buildings, schools, and everywhere else. If there are people who disagree with me it is OK since this is America and they have the right to. But do not force me to give Him up because it offends you (you also have the right to find a country that represents your views).
I would like to see it removed because I do not "trust" "god" in any way shape or form. Anything that creates Charlie Manson and the Haitian earthquake cannot be trusted.

SO you DO believe there is a GOD who is in control of everything everywhere?
Should be another option to the poll: It doesn't matter.
This would cover the fact that other things on our money (denominations, official seal and the all seeing eye) don't matter. It is there and causes no real problem. Equally it would cause no real problem to remove it, except to upset the christians.

On the pattern coins of 1792, the motto was "Liberty, Parent of Science and Industry." We seem to have forgotten that.
"In God We Trust" appeared in 1864 in the midst of the slaughter of our Civil War. It suggests a strong need to make sense of the bloodshed and sacrifice. Perhaps during these days of economic despair and the fact that our hold seems to be getting deeper and our divorce from economic reality more pronounced, perhaps there is great need to remind ourselves that our nation's founding was based on the inherent drive of man to be free.
