Good grief, they do not have a thing to do with each other. We each must take personal responsibility for our having worked hard, or hardly worked.

We here in this country each have the same, basic opportunities to the American Dream. Stories arise on a regular basis of someone having "made it" that was born in poverty and things like that.

Yes, some get extra advantage but we all have the chance to work very hard while being penny-pinching with it as we make it.

What im saying is that it isnt my fault that some people are poor. They are poor because they want to be. Its not my problem.

You keep saying that but what does that mean?

Are you saying that poor people want to not be able to eat? Are you saying poor people don't want to be able to afford shoes, shirts, and pants? Are you saying poor people wouldn't like to drive around in a nice fancy car?
Are you are saying that people choose to die of hunger?

Think about what you are saying.

Thanks for clearing it up that people go through hunger and starvation because they want to.

Apparently, poor people hate having money and nice things. They rather live in broken down neighborhoods where they can get robbed or shot.

Same is true about ancient Rome. Every slave had an opportunity to earn his freedom and to amass wealth (and his own slaves). Thousands of Soviet citizens become underground millionaires, laws be damned. If you are born to fleece others you WILL, regardless of the country and/or political system. This rag to riches crap to justify (wage) slavery is getting really stupid.

Since, it's obvious that rich folks hold claims to most of the resources (necessary for survival of the poor), they charge arbitrary "access" fees or they may limit access 100% (like in old Good Ireland during potato famine). A poor must trade his arse (by doing something "useful" in the eyes of the rich) in order to be granted access to the survival resources held under control of the "rich". A "civilized" poor cannot feed/cloth himself without rich "mediators" (collecting arbitrary fees at every survival step). Thus to claim that poverty and wealth are not connected is beyond irrational. Since you are brainwashed to accept slavery by default, you don't think about those things.

OK but not everyone is poor because they want to be. There are a lot of people who go bankrupt from medical bills or just from the actual health problems. Some people are not too bright. I just don't know why people think they don't sound stupid making gross generalizations about the rich and poor. There a difference between producing wealth and acquiring wealth which seems all together obvious with taxation for some people but seem utterly blind to it in the private economy which more often than not involves public influence anyway. Mineral "rights" are secured by da guberment.

The point is can people become rich by making other people poor? That answer is yes from the burning and looted cities of Asia in reference to the Mongols.

Producing wealth and having wealth correlates, but it is not a the only cause of wealth. Wealth is separated from the producers every day in varying degrees.

Any one here a fan of CCR? Anyone know why John Forgery left in just a few years? Its because he was easily separated from his production and didn't care for it. Did that impact his production? Ya think?

All of this babble and you have yet to tell me where wealth goes during a recession.

Well, he said poor people wanted to be poor.

That's the same thing as wanting to die of starvation.

Aren't you the same disinformation machine that seems to have no clue about Office for Mac that you also need to pay for just to format a binary protocol?

We all pay fees.
We live in the US of A. To claim I am brainwashed is to be denying reality on an almost daily basis when yet another story of someone born into horrible conditions has made it and made it BIG.

Paying fees, being at the mercy, as you say, not me "of the rich" many of us have made a fine life for ourselves.

If the govt. handed 100,000. dollars to each breathing citizen, for example we'd have poverty a couple of years later, again. THIS is the poverty of the soul, a human condition of which some people work hard, and some hardly work.

Some people save and some people waste their money.

You truly are the one brainwashed if you can't see or won't admit the reality of what I just posted.
