UPDATE: A second teacher from this school has been arrested.

"LOS ANGELES (The Blaze/AP) — A second teacher pulled from a classroom at Miramonte Elementary School this week was arrested Friday, just days after a third-grade teacher was charged with lewd acts involving photographing nearly two dozen children for sexual thrills, authorities said."
"The second teacher, who has not been identified, was removed after accusations of inappropriate touching of students surfaced on Thursday, Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent John Deasy said."
“We are prepared to fire him next week and we’ll do that at the next board meeting for inappropriate conduct and inappropriately touching students,” the superintendent told KTTV.

Not always the case, but these perverts often target the most vulnerable. Anybody who knows anything about L.A. is aware of the demographics of "South L.A." formerly known as South Central L.A. It is enraging beyond belief, that the poorest, oftentimes most needy children are targeted. Remember Sandusky and his Second Mile kids? Or how about the guy who started the orphanage in Haiti to "help" the children and then ended up molesting them. I'm beginning to think we need to install video cameras in the classrooms and I abhor the idea of Big Brother Spies. But, children are special. They need protection. It may be time. Too many degenerates out there taking advantage of every opportune moment.

Interesting article by Dr. Keith Ablow on why kids don't report abuse.

"Children want to believe that those who are in positions of authority have their best interests at heart. They are more likely to take blame than place it on others. And they simply lack the experience and intuition to label even grotesqueries as assaults (especially when someone like Berndt says they are games)."
"Children are also very vulnerable to scenarios created by abusive adults who tell them that divulging any “secrets” will lead others they love to be harmed."

Dr. Ablow believes its time to consider psychological testing for those who want to work with children and installation of video cameras in classrooms, etc.
Much as I dislike the sound of this, I have to agree. Kids need protection.

Ahh, the wonderful unions at work once again.

If there is any justice in this world, the children and their families will sue this perv for every penny he's every received or will receive. After he is cleaned out, I hope the victims go after the unions. Part of the reason this molester kept his job for so long is the fact that unions have made it impossible to fire any teacher in America.

Fire him before molestation allegations were brought against this teacher?

[how would that work?]
