You sure he's not talking about his own record?
You got that right...he's the typical thing that's wrong with the GOP.

BTW Kentuckydad,if that's your LOCAL paper...I can just about throw a rock and hit you from my place

The President's Apology Tour - WSJ.com

To attempt to deny the world apology tour took place is just another weak attempt by desperate Obama supporters to ignore the reality of the epic failure that is Barack Obama. BTW: Is it a violation of the TOS to call another poster a moron?
It's typical. In their desperation this is all the Obama supporters have left......
So, the ACA being passed through reconciliation makes it illegitimate? Newsflash: the Bush tax-cuts were passed through reconciliation.

Since the WSJ was bought by Murdock, it's editorials are nothing but right-wing talking points. The WSJ editorial page was also predicting Dow 36,000, and:

* Clinton’s tax hike would cause a recession and send stocks plunging

* American households are saving plenty thanks to capital gains on their houses

* Interest rates will soar thanks to Obama’s deficits

The WSJ editorial page used to love claiming that CBO projections showed that the Bush tax cuts were perfectly affordable, because they showed the budget moving into balance; what the WSJ never told readers was that the budget moved into balance in those projections because the Bush tax cuts were assumed to expire.

The WSJ also published this: The Bond Vigilantes - WSJ.com -- all of it proven wrong by history.

So, tell me why people pay any attention to the WSJ editorial page?

"Failing miserably" is GOP psychosis.

* The guy avoided an economic depression by doing the opposite of what the GOP wanted (i.e., no stimulus, higher interest rates, tightening the money supply.)

* Ended Bush's needless Iraq War.

* Passed a health care law. (and if you think we're not better off for it, ask anyone with pre-existing conditions if they're better off; ask people with working children under 26 whose employers offer no health coverage, if they're better off.)

* The economy is improving that was left to him in shambles.

What has the GOP offered since they took over the House in 2010? Nothing than what they always offer, lower taxes on the rich and cut programs used by ordinary Americans.

Lightbulb Mitch McConnell; Obama's Record Is 'Indefensible'

Not only is Mcconnell a shameless chickenhawk, he should be shunned for looking too much like a turtle.

Slow and steady? No, just slow.

I don't know about the good looks department.

But without a doubt, the turtle wins on smarts and courage.

Mitch McConnell was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama to Julia (née Shockley) and Addison Mitchell McConnell. His official U.S. Senate Web site biography omits his Alabama birthplace, stating that he was "Born on February 20, 1942, and raised in south Louisville". McConnell was raised in southern Louisville, Kentucky, where he attended the duPont Manual High School, and in 1964 he graduated with honors from the University of Louisville. He was student body president and a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He graduated in 1967 from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was elected the president of the Student Bar Association.

McConnell became a member of the 100th Training Unit, U.S. Army Reserve, in Louisville, Kentucky during his final semester of law school, and he reported for his six months of active service, primarily for training, in July 1967. After induction at Fort Knox, Kentucky, McConnell was released early from his active-duty military service in August 1967.

Controversy exists as to the reason for his discharge, at a time when troops were being sent to Vietnam for combat duty. John Cooper, a U.S. Senator from Kentucky (for whom McConnell had interned) wrote a letter in August 1967 to the commanding general at Fort Knox, asking when McConnell would be "cleared" from active duty so as to attend New York University. The registrar's office at NYU has no record of McConnell applying or registering for classes; further, he had already been graduated from the University of Kentucky with a law degree before enlisting in the reserve. According to a former campaign manager, McConnell received a medical discharge for optic neuritis (a symptom of multiple sclerosis), which is usually curable within 3-4 weeks and is not by itself a reason for discharge, according to Dr. Timothy Allen, the former Chief Medical Officer of the U.S. military. McConnell has declined to be interviewed regarding this issue, or to release medical records.

No. I think anyone can realize that we made mistakes in the middle east from the years of 1949 through 2008, to say the least. Acknowledging those facts isn't apologizing, its realistic.

Otherwise, we are doomed to repeat the same stupid mistakes.

Repeating stupid mistakes is the GOP's new strategy.

Tax cuts and trickle-down, anyone? How about another middle east war (Iran)?

I'm not sure what trickle down and tax cuts has to do with the GOP and the President, and middle eastern politics.

But, the President is just as responsible for lowering taxes while increasing spending as the GOP is.
