Half of voters called by Rasmussen disagree with the action taken by HHS to require churches that sponsor hospitals to provide these goodies to all employees in their insurance coverage. 39% of voters agreed with the action and 10% had no opinion.

Read the questions provided that were asked. There are some really interesting outcomes to four other questions, but all of them go along with the numbers here as far as direction is concerned so many wouldn't want to see them.

Interesting. These results are contradicted by two separate polls that I linked to in the big thread on this same topic.

Bottom line, everyone is going to find someone who bolsters their position, although I will say that the percentages for in both of the other polls are higher than the numbers against in this one

Just curious, why would it matter, I mean if the people working for a religous organization have learned their lesson so well then no one will use them, right?

True, but they still don't want to foot the bill for contraception for the heathens that they also employ.

I'm always shocked by my ignorance of the conservative right's values but, is there really a significant portion of Americans who are opposed to birth control? Of course I don't ever believe a Rasmussan Poll BUT, I find it hard to believe there are more than a handful of people out there who honestly do not use birth control methods to avoid unplanned pregnancies.

They are employing heathens, my my, guess they have a problem then eh
I am sure lots of companies don't like footing the bill for certain items, heck some would not any bill if they did not have to. Religious organizations are operating as businesses and as such must follow the same rules as any other business, and that is that.
