This is nothing new. Although I disagree with identity politics on principle, in the interest of fairness, you might wish to include all the identity-based organizations that contributed to the Obama campaign.
Yeah, it is something new; he formed the group.
It's nothing new for groups of like minded people
to come together to support a candidate, but
it is something very new for a sitting President
so obviously pandering to racial politics.
Obama gets wierder and wierder to me every day. By the way, I'm black.
He's started African Americans for Obama, but he refuses to start Obama for African Americans. When the CBC and others went to him and said "hey, unemployment is 2x higher in the black community than the national average" he told them to, basically, get out of here...I'm not going to create a program specifically for blacks. But, he created a program to help vets AND THEIR SPOUSES get jobs. Vets I can understand, but their spouses???
Doesn't make a difference to me, I'm done voting. 2008 elections, the electoral process and our impotent government system has already proved my point. I was just voting due to the duress of being labeled ignorant. I'm now realizing it's ignorant to participate in a voting process where every vote does not count, government does what they want to do anyway, trickle-down economics rules in the end (bailouts), and politicians place celebrities over true heroes (teachers, civil servants, etc.) continuously.
I think Satan could do a better job than these jagaloons.
A VERY WELL thought out response!
Problem is .. We are BOTH 'Uncle Toms'!
(or in my case .. an oreo cookie! )
(Actually, I am a Mulatto like Obama except .. I'm the Good Looking Mulatto! )
And here I thought that Obama was supposed to be the President of the 'People'?
(Maybe he can get 95% of the black vote instead of 94%)

What if Bush or the 2012 GOP candidate did this for white people?

The Tea Party is made up of American citizens from all walks of life, all ethnic backgrounds, and they believe in American and want to support America. The Tea Party is not against Obama exclusively, they are against anyone, any politician, democrat or republican, who are anti American and who want to change America, and who want to hurt America.
Why wasn't anyone calling Hillary sexist when she was trying to get the attention of women? She was doing the same thing Obama is doing with his race.
If George W. Bush made concerted and conscious appeal to "White Voter's" the left would be up in arms.
Will any liberals on this forum come forth to deny this? Or can we expect your silence to be a concurrence with this assertion?
Point Proven.
Liberal silence on the above assertion is clear evidence that they willingly engage in hypocrisy and support racial pandering in politics....but only if its a liberal being the Hypocritical Panderer.
Maybe he wants people to come together as a clash!
I honestly believe so.
