I wasn't aware he was in control of every local news organization. Where does that man find the time?
He's also in control of all the local schools, as well as their busses (remember Limbaugh's "Obama's America" on the kid who was beat up on the bus?) and while he's doing all that he's also running Acorn
Was Obama himself at that school? Was it him personally that took away the kid's lunch? No, he wasn't. Did he give the order? Was he in the White House Situation room amidst a bevy of high ranking officials and he was asked for his OK to take the lunch? No he wasn't.
And yet the very same people who claim he doesn't get credit for killing bin Laden because it wasn't him personally that pulled the trigger have no problem at all blaming him for this
Bruce Alexander, director of communications and governmental affairs with the USDA, said Wednesday the person inspecting lunches was a “North Carolina Education staff member conducting a review of the child care center.”
“The school thought it had been resolved, apologized to the parent and never charged the parent for a school meal,” he said

The article is riddled with inconsistencies that could be cleared up without disclosing the child's name. Her lunch wasn't confiscated. She brought it home uneaten.
Also, Chicago does not do the same thing. There is a school in Chicago that does not allow outside lunches to be brought in (a policy that I think is rather heavy handed, and worth getting indignant about) Apparently you are pretty comfortable making things up to fill in the blanks.

Still doesn't explain why her lunch was uneaten. Or exactly what about it was deemed nutritionally deficient enough to be replaced with chicken nuggets.
Also, you incorrectly stated that Chicago is doing this, when it's a single school in Chicago doing this.

It does not have to stated why her lunch was eaten. That is irrelevant. The fact is, that this did happen it pokes your accusations all to pot.
Just like NC, chicago has guidelines.....it is a state issue.
This story is STILL wholly dependent upon the word of a single person...that reporter. She has not offered one shred of evidence to support her claim it actually happened and nobody has been able to track down this phantom Mom, Grandma or state inspector.
And OMG, what a crappy reporter she is. A quote from the Fox News Insider web article:
Quote:
Burrows said that it still isn’t clear who the inspector was who deemed this little girl’s lunch was unhealthy
She based an entire story on one person's action, and she "isn't clear" on who that person is? Where are the two sides to the story? This reporter has zero credibility.
The Journal initially reported that a state agent was inspecting lunchboxes in a West Hoke Elementary School ‘More at Four’ classroom. The report has since been edited and no longer reads that it was a state agent but a “person who was inspecting lunches.”
If I were her editor, I'd fire that reporter for these egregious fabrications and errors. She obviously has no idea how to do her job.
Your opinion on the reporting style is irrelevant.

More evidence of outrageously horrible reporting:

You know what really ****ing amazes me is how I got to be 6'3" 250lbs of scary man machine on the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I grew up eating in my sack lunches. Jeez friggin Louise.
