To say that Apple epitomizes the American greed corporation is an understatement.

Apple raised prices on digital albums of late soul diva Whitney Houston on the iTunes Store. Many subscribers of the service accused the corporation of the attempt to derive profit from the tragedy.
I work for an entertainment distributor (won't give the name of my employer), but the run on her music has been overwhelming. The morbid truth is that death is the best thing for has been superstars...
Supply and demand. It's capitalism. What's wrong with that?
Liberals hate capitalism. But they love Apple. This is the dilemma of a lifetime for the Granola Crunchies. What will they ever do to tame the raunchy love affair between the two?

I don't think they hate Capitalism. They simply see that Capitalism isn't a panacea and that there are, necessarily, limitations and problems with it. Liberals tend to find these limitations and problems simply to be less acceptable than conservatives.

Quite the conundrum.
Maybe auction houses should go back to selling Van Gogh's work (or any other museum quality artists work) at the same prices he was getting before his death as well?

Just a thought, but perhaps if Houston's fans had purchased more years ago when her career took a dump she wouldn't have been on the drug abuse suicide ride she chose for over a decade? Isn't it the fans who are greedy scavenging what remains of her albums after her death? Or, is greed limited only to capitalists?
