Jerry Sandusky’s former daughter-in-law today railed against a court ruling allowing the accused child molester to visit with his grandchildren, saying that Sandusky had inappropriately touched her son and she suspected he was grooming the boy for sexual abuse.

Jill Thomas, who was married to Sandusky’s son Matt, said she would continue to fight against Sandusky being allowed to visit with his grandchildren.

i'd say hang the ******* but long ago some bleeding hearts decided that only murderers don't deserve to walk the earth, even though rape victims have to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives while their attackers get 3 hots and a cot.

Good point. I think voters, too often, don't spend enough time researching the Judges they vote for and this is becoming increasingly vital as we see more and more Judicial Activism.

Why didn't she appear in court, to oppose his visitation rights?

Upon reading the article, the judge relaxed bail terms in order to allow him to see the grandkids, except for Jill Thomas's kids because she has openly fought against it. I don't believe it's "visitation rights" that is being granted, it's just adjusting the bail terms that restrict him from being with any children, to providing an exception of his grandkids. The parents still have their authority to refuse, like any other time.
