Seeing as the official stance for most of the nation's history has been that black culture - although that probably wasn't the word they used - was its own entity that had to be kept separate (and firmly in its place) by all means possible, it's a little disingenuous to insist that it shouldn't be commemorated.

Yet time and time again decent, sane people have rebuffed, discredited, and basically made you seem dim witted.

Now it's just plain old, "I don't like black people".

Hey, if I were you I wouldn't like them either!!

Imagine the descendants of my forefathers prejudice now surpassing me on the social totem pole and even ascending to the Presidency of these United States of America.

Poor, poor Steve.

Here's a little something to go to sleep to:

" Hey Stevie boy, when you look this cool, haters just gotta hate"!!
Great post, you should really preserve it as a blog entry, with the way Steve's threads have been "disappearing" lately.... The blog creation button in in the bottom right corner of your post.

Seeing that EVERY conceivable Race, Nationality, Religion, Ethnicity, occupations, even social or class subsets like LGBT community on the planet has many cultural centers and museums all across this country, what is the beef with blacks having their own????? Oh that's right, they're black. Never mind....

Talking Barack Obama Obama To Break Ground For National Black Museum (Why?)

Also I believe that there is a over saturation of many things in this country that already celebrates african Americans. Isn't it time to say "enough is enough" with wasteful spending? I can't imagine what this thing is going to be filled with!!

With eyes on his own personal legacy, President Obama revealed today that he will help in the groundbreaking of the nation's first African-American museum.

Yeah...

We white guys have had it tough in America. We should whine about not having a white guy museum.

Carry on.

The reason the birfers get AND DESERVE the ridicule is they ignorant adherence to their beliefs inspite of proof beyond all doubt, unfavorable court rulings and sanctions and even the words in past court rulings and the law books. Who else you know that believes one line of text and denies the existence of the next line? Well other than bible thumpers....
