Fox News wouldn't report something like that in a million years. I bet low income Republicans believe the actual top issues to be concerned about, though, are banning abortion and gay marriage.

Nevertheless this doesn't look good for Mitt "I don't care about the poor" RoMoney.

Those are generally the dumb religious Republicans who would be Democrats if not for cultural/racial issues. They have little concept of Democrats other than they want to ban the bible or take their guns away.

Could it be that those "dumb religious Republicans" don't like Democrats because by and large they share your ignorant views about them as being backwater hillbillies who love Jesus and hate gays and blacks?

That's pretty elitist and condescending

Some of the most impoverished places in the nations are red areas. Plus, I do believe that Bush came up against opposition against southern Republicans when he wanted to privatize SS.

Republicans are some of the biggest recipients of welfare. In fact, I wish liberals grew some balls and started to kick red states off of welfare and put their rugged individualism to the test.

So how do they react when they hear Republicans say that poor people are lazy leeches?
