Of course the democrats will not impeach him so the Republicans must take over the senate to get him out of power. That is the only way to get rid of the gut causing the gridlock in Congress.

Move to Nevada and vote against him. And make a big contribution to his rival's campaign. That'll show him!

The fact that there aren't the votes to impeach makes the argument moot.
You made the claim, "The main point being, it's not impeachable behavior to not pass a budget", back it up.

I am NOT saying he WILL be, only he COULD be. You are saying he CAN'T be.

There is no excuse for this behavior. The democrats in the senate are the DO NOTHING CONGRESS that Obama keeps talking about.
That is not exactly true. The House has not passed all thirteen appropriation bills for quite some time. For example, for FY 2012 the House failed to pass:
  • H.R. 2596 - Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012
  • H.R. 2434 - Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, 2012
  • H.R. 2584 - Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012
  • H.R. 3070 - Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012
Furthermore, the House failed to even introduce two appropriation bills:
  • Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2012; and
  • Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2012.

You have to go back to 1998 before you will find when the House last passed all thirteen appropriation bills. Both Republicans and Democrats have failed in their constitutional obligation to enact a budget for the last 14 years.

The right wing crazies already did that by nominating that loon Angle to run against Reid in 2010. If it wasn't for how insane she was, Reid would have been easily defeated.
Thanks tea party nut jobs

Easy to fix, don't sign a continuing resolution. Let the American people decide which side is wrong, and which side is right.

Republicans have passed budgets, yes, but budgets they knew stood no chance in hell of passing the Senate. So its like giving someone a dog turd to eat, and say "well I offered you something", not exactly like giving them a PB&J sandwich.

Both sides are equally at fault, don't make it sound like its just one.

Budget!?
"We don't Need No Stinkin Budget"!

(we're too busy 'buying' votes)
It is not desperate nor hard to understand. The GOP is instead desperate to blame Democrats for everything, hoping something will stick. This time it's about not passing a budget.

The objective is not passing any'ole document. The objective is passing a fiscal plan that meets America's needs. So far, the GOP plan calls for cutting more taxes on the rich and off-setting them with cuts in people programs, notably Social Security and Medicare. The GOP plan does nothing to reduce the deficit, once one filters out the unfounded assumptions and magic asterisks. Why should Democrats vote for such a plan, just to say they passed a budget?

Did...did you not read the post at all?

Let me quote the relevant part for you:

To pin this on dems alone is the reason why our country is going downhill.

It's the fault of both dems and repubs for being too stubborn to actually work together.

Default who put HR in office? that is where the problem lies

Dumping HR is only a small piece of the problem, you still have the electorate who voted him in election after election retaining the ability to make more poor choices in future elections.

What part of "Congress has not passed a budget since 1998" are you not capable of comprehending? That includes Democrats and Republicans alike.

Or are you one of those partisan hacks that thinks it is crime for the Democrats not to pass a budget, but perfectly acceptable when Republicans do not pass a budget?
