I don't know any one outside of law enforcement or the military like that. You want to claim that the average person will need a gun, go ahead, I complain the opposite.
I knew a few people that would still be here if they would have had a gun with them at the time they were robbed and then murdered.
You do not need to be armed because of your bad choices but because your assailant made his own bad choices. Not being armed, skilled and willing to defend yourself is your bad choice.
I didn't mention anything about age in my post. Yes, if I or someone I cared about was in grave danger from thugs that happened to be underage I would shoot. I wouldn't be asking for ID to verify that they were 18.
Though until you are in that situation I suppose you don't know for sure if you will be able to pull the trigger.
You are right, up to a point. If you have pulled your gun, then you should be prepared to fire.
lots of tough guys on the internetz, too bad they are rarely around in the real world, keyboard commandos
You are right, there are a lot of keyboard commandos. There are people whom I believe also, based on the TYPE and CONTENT of their post. Certain things are difficult to pretend. Many of the real people, can quickly ascertain whether we are dealing with a keyboard commando or the real thing. People who live and work with weapons, and those are trained have a different mindset, then those who don't.
As are those who seek to undermine the Constituionally affirmed rights of others.
