Graham is to Christianity what Sharpton and Jackson are to black America, none of them have any credibility or influence but they all get a lot of air time.
All of this talk about the religion of a candidate seeking election for public office makes me uncomfortable and perturbed. A politician's religious preferences have nothing to do with his or her qualification to serve.
Do we now have a new paradigm called "religious correctness"????
Does someone running for political office need to pass some kind of religious test?
Who cares if Romney is a Mormon or Santorum is Roman Catholic ... does that disqualify them? What about a candidate's other credentials: education, experience, public service, political philosophy, positions on specific issues?
There is smear campaign against Obama, and the Obama-haters are trying to insinuate he is not a Christian but a Muslim. Obama has professed to be a Christian. Historically the same bigotry was used against Franklin Delano Roosevelt; the Roosevelt-haters claimed FDR's real surname was Rosenfeld and he was secretly a Jew. A communistic, atheistic, perverted Jew. These people were Nazi-sympathizers.
