That was the GW/Cheney/GQP group. Pushing their agenda. Iran knows what would happen as soon as israel had intel they were nearing delivery capability. They still see no way around this. They will not reach this milestone until they have appropriate defensive capabilities, if ever.

We remember Rumsfeld and Cheney <spat> undercutting the intelligence agencies to make sure that only the intelligence that supported theirs and Wolfowitz' <spat> feverish desire to build a rationale for the Iraq war was put in front of the decision makers and the public.
