Some of you are missing the key point. The key point isn't that these were two military officers. The key point was that they were killed at an official Afghanistan government building,...not out on the public streets or countryside.

That is a very keen observation. However I think you should elucidate your point.
Never understood why we were there in the first place. Nothing good has ever come from fighting in that country.
I feel that the Democrats pushed Afghanistan because they needed a foil to Iraq for political reasond. They didn't want to back the Iraq war because it was started by Bush, but didn't want to be seen as wimps. So Afghanistan became their choice and Obama has doubled down on the bet.
Hopefully we'll just get out all together and stay the hell out of Syria.
