I have to disagree with your first statement. There was a reason, oil was the reason. And then people attack subsidy for a domestic energy supplied car.

Our dollar is tied to oil. Right now other countries have to hold our currency in reserve to purchase said oil. When will you lefties ever get that in your heads? I've posted it hundreds of times and still the same nonsense comes spewing forth. Until that is changed you can squeal all you want about the middle east but we are there until our monetary policy changes. Paul is the only one who even brings this up.
