Does Chipotle count? I can't stand how the line gets crammed and they expect you to make your order from 5 feet away. I have to check the steak first to make sure it's not still alive (raw), but I can't see a damn thing.
I agree with this! I feel sorry for those who are "first timers".....good luck figuring out what you want to eat before getting jammed down the line!

LOL on the Dillards thread people are complaining about lazy sales people who are not agressive enough. Here they complain about sales people being too agressive.
Ill put mine in: having to say no 4 times to the same question. Once is fine and I get it, you were required to ask if I wanted a store credit card, rewards program, or an accessory.
The complainers on both threads don't understand the difference between a "sales person" and a "sales clerk". A sales person is hired to encourage you to make an informed purchase because the buyer may not understand the benefits/cons of a product. A sales clerk will leave you to your own devices and just ring up your sale when you are done.
Instead of straight rewards of money off your next purchase, a complex game or system that supposedly racks up refunds but you can never figure out how to redeem them.
Also, coupons that expire in 2 weeks--I don't even use coupons anymore because of this.
I hate "mail in" coupons. The manufacturers don't care when you get the discount. It is the STATE that forbids them because the sales tax is generated from the gross sale and not the real discount price you get in the end.

Exactly right! Not very long ago I received a "rewards" voucher in the mail. I didn't even know I had "earned" it to be honest. We hung it on the fridge and pretty much forgot about it. About two months later, we grabbed it and took it to the store since we were going anyway only to be informed that the "rewards" that I "earned" were "expired."
How lovely! Needless to say I believe "rewards" programs are a farce in most cases.

State laws in some cases
The State law here says they have to see an ID card if you look like you might be under 30.
