This is tough for me to really wrap my head around.....

I definitely do not think she deserves money for pain and suffering.....

But, she now looks like Sloth from the Goonies because some woman was stupid enough to have a chimp as a pet and let it loose around people.

I never advocate state intervention...and I won't in this instance. But I can totally see how somebody would want to hold the state accountable...the State is already there unfortunately...why was she allowed to keep the pet even after it stormed downtown Stamford? Unfortunately, the backlash falls upon everybody else.

If she knew something was just not right, then more than likely it was and she should have exercised better judgment. That woman would not have been my friend until Dunston Checked Out.

Yeah, all caused by her own stupidity, maybe she can find a lawyer to sue herself.

She better not get a dime... Lady, sue your friend, who actually owned the dangerous animal. Second, if you were so damned afraid it would cause harm, why did you continue to go to your friend's house? You knowingly put yourself at risk. Your actions speak louder than your words. Had you really feared it was dangerous you wouldn't have been there in the first place, so you are partly at fault. Your friend and you both screwed up. Instead, you have to waste tax payer dollars by causing the city to fight this. Ridiculous.
