There are three or four threads about this topic and I have commented and commented on three of them. Is it my way of thinking you don't like or my way of saying BS without saying the actual term that disappoints you?

1. Ms Fluke went before congress and talked about her friend who has ovarian cancer and need the bc pills because of that condition. She did NOT talk about multiple sex partners or sex partners of any type. Quit lying.

2. 4 out of the 5 largest advertisers on Rush's show have cancelled their advertisements with him and several others have indicated that they too are considering cancelling.

3. Rush is owned by Clear Channel which is owned by Bain Capital....Mitt Romney's old company from which he still draws a great deal of money. Ask Mitt how a family man with daughters feels about making money from Rush's insulting behavior toward women.

4. Rush has been married 4 times and has no children. Hmmm. Wonder if his wives used bc or if the world just got lucky?

5. Rush thinks using viagra so he can visit a certain type of lady is just fine but if a woman uses bc then she is a sl*t? Wow. Hypocrite is spelled. R-U-S-H. And, by the way folks, you DO know that married women who sleep only with their own husband ALSO use bc, don't you?

I just saw this on the NPR website:

Majorities In Senate And Public Support Birth Control Coverage : Shots - Health Blog : NPR
Of course, you have seen what Kathleen Sebelius said in that committee hearing yesterday, haven't you. Those nasty Republicans must have trapped her into saying that fewer babies would cause health care to be cheaper. She didn't say whether the insurance companies have to provide free birth control to illegal aliens, though. Maybe she was just talking about fewer Americans would make it all cheaper to supply for illegal aliens.

I fear that they haven't really thought out how to finance their power grab which they call Affordable Care but the more we find out about it the more I dislike the damned thing.

Lets look at those numbers from that sensible amendment the Senate defeated the other day. Three RINOs voted with the Dems against along with both the independents and the one socialist. Three Democrats who are often called DINOs by progs voted with the GOP. I keep hoping that we can gain enough seats next fall to throw Harry Reid into early retirement, he won't go on unless he can run the show. NPR reported on that amendment just like the MSM sources did and made it sound like what people who don't understand what was going on want. Most will learn, but too late.

I guess someone needs to point out that women who have or want to have health insurance that covers birth control ARE and WILL BE paying for their prescriptions in the form of premiums.

In fact, for young women, that is often the only health claim they ever make. $40 worth of medicine in exchange for their payment of a $150-$300 premium every month. This is why the insurance companies are keeping very quiet. They want to cover BC so they don't have to cover pregnancy or other medical issues that the pill prevents. It's extremely cost effective.

I am not sure why anyone is talking about MY TAX DOLLARS and I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR YOUR SEXY, SEXY, SEX. Is that just an auto-response from the right to any healthcare or social welfare issue these days? It makes them look ignorant. No one is paying but the patient.

Old timers whining about sexually mature youth wrassling with their hormones sound like they've got a nasty case of penis envy.
