The guy should not have revealed himself.

The law outlawing jammers is an obvious subterfuge for TeleComm companies business.

If he did that to me, he'd learn quickly that his jammer can be 'jammed' too, if a bit less comfortably. (If you catch my drift.)

Y'know, I used to have a few friends like that: when we were in person together, usually while they were driving, they'd always let their call interrupt our conversation. Yet, whenever I called them, I had to leave a message. Oddly enough, I don't miss those women. Those friendships just sorta fizzled out.

It is sort of like the invisible "this is my personal space" line we draw around ourselves, we feel personally uncomfortable and even violated when people encroach on our personal space. In a way, these very loud and obnoxious cell phone users are doing the same thing, they are crossing our culturally accepted personal space.

I'm not trying to be a jerk mind you, I don't realize I'm doing it. Maybe it's because I'm slightly hard in hearing or I'm big (6'6" 250 lbs) but I just don't have a 6" voice. If you do jam me, you'll get a lot more problems from me and it won't be worth it trust me than just putting up with the 10 minute ride. If you ask nicely to be quieter, I'll try.
Well; you admit you might be hard of hearing but that should excuse you making your private conversation public to the annoyance of all? Don't you see anything wrong with that viewpoint?

Public politness has surely taken a back seat in todays society.

My pet peeves are the restaurants and other places where people used to go to enjoy a quiet time with family on a special outing. Now we are bombarded with someone's catchy "star wars" theme song, ring tones and conversation about anything from "buy fifty shares of acme crap brackets" to " gee, I don't know, where do you want to golf thursday, call ED and get back to me, I'll be here for another hour or so?" Wonderful!

If you go to one of the chain restaurants where the music and hub-bub are already loud enough without this annoying addition, you probably get what you deserve for being content to eat in a humanity wharehouse but, a quiet fine dining experience with family should not include YOUR inane bullcrap into space.

People who lack any type of cell phone decorum ( loud talking, cursing, personal business) drive me nuts.
What happens when a person out of eye sight or unbeknown to the person jamming cell phones, gets their call for help jammed. Someone is having a hear attack, being car jacked, or witnessing a crime are suddenly disconnected, it's not worth it.

remember the days when your were only on a leash at work and at home with the land lines..and you found PEACE while traveling

remember the days when you could pop up a sign that said gone fishing, and you were unreachable

cell phones have hurt us more than they have helped us
