Roscoe Bartlett supports mustaches, but not ‘The ‘Stache Act’ - Maryland Politics - The Washington Post

The ‘Stache Act — Stimulus to Allow for Critical Hair Expenses — is a proposal from AMI to give “a $250 annual tax deduction for every Mustached American for expenditures on mustache grooming supplies.”

I believe this could really get the economy going again. How about you?

I voted yes because I think it could be expanded into other areas and revive merkin manufacture.

I'm glad you brought this to the forum's attention. I've been passionate about this issue ever since I saw it on Faux News two weeks ago. I absolutely support this measure. I'd like to see it expanded to include tax breaks for other facial hair styles as well.

That should be mandatory. At least estrogen injections.

I'm not sure if such a bill could become law without at least one lawsuit from a feminist organization claiming discrimination. There would have to be a provision for their--shall we say--grooming needs, as well.
