You said we should not care what Rush says, that he is a talk show host. Yet earlier you asked why Obama isn't debating Rush? You also urged members to view a video by Limbaugh.

Which one is it? Should we not pay attention to the fat bloated druggie known as Limbaugh or should we all pay attention to him????

Default Is this the end of Rush Limbaugh?

I'm starting to think it is. The Republican party will have no choice but to really and truly rebuke his statement, which will render his "message" meaningless.

I can't believe that he has the following he has. I figured him out for what he is in like 1989 and haven't heard him since.

As long as toothless rednecks roam American and have access to AM radio, Rush will be around.

Muslim, communist, birth certificate; all those things aren't loony preoccupations at all.

You see the loons discussing his addiction history in this very thread. That was certainly more than 3 years ago.

And the thing is, no one has to make up anything about Limbaugh's history.

Now didn't you tell us Limbaugh critics wouldn't be frothing at the mouth about this 3 years from now? Yet you brought up a disease he had over 3 years ago? Which is it?

No, this incident will scare away a few sponsors temporarily, but believe it or not, it will strengthen his credibiity with his angry, willfully ignorant dittohead followers.

Heck, they'd love to give him a medal for his attack on a young woman.

What "message"?

I know you liberals try to make him out to be the mastermind of the Republican Party but here's a reality check for you: the guy is a radio show host. He is an entertainer.

If the Republican Party rebukes his statement, then so what? It means squat. He doesn't need Boehner's permission to broadcast his show. When the tens of millions who listen to him stop tuning in, then that will be the end of him.

If Obama said he didn't like Jon Stewart, would Jon's show be cancelled? Not likely.
