Advertisements

ProFlowers, mattress retailers Sleep Train and Sleep Number, software maker Citrix Systems, data-backup service provider Carbonite will all be out of business by the end of the year.

This will be a positive and powerful message to those who would attempt to affect the content of the shows on which they advertise.

Apparently, some "conservative" PACs are buying time with him.
Despite apology, Limbaugh loses more advertisers - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com
The criticism delivered by most Republican officeholders was muted. One political action committee stepped up to buy even more advertising on his program.

Everyone knows by now. It's only the liberal left who has the entitled right to be vile and nasty.

I see a couple things here. Liberals are basically jumping at their only chance (small chance) to shut down Rush. They would want nothing better than to silence one of the strongest voices of the opposition. Free speech? Hell no, our agenda is more important. That is why they are trying to ride this as long as they can.

Notice also how they do nothing but call Rush names, yet slam him for two words he used. And we all know this "outrage" is selective. Were they really offended by what he said? Hardly. After all, we have numerous examples of the same or worse language used by their own media voices, yet you hardly ever saw national coverage of it.

These companies have a right to pull away. However, let's be honest. We all know the advertisers are receiving thousands of emails from liberals, with the sole purpose of shutting down the opposition. Most of them probably dont even use the products they claim to be when emailing these companies, they just want to shut down the other side. Heck, even if the advertisers didnt cave in, these liberals would mostly still use these products if they did before.

Rush will get more ads. He is a powerful voice and Id be shocked if the left succeeded here. One would think there are more important issues to deal with right now. And there are. The country is facing many bigger problems. But the left puts shutting down the opposition voice at number one on their list. ANYTHING to get their agenda through easier.

That being said I think at times we all say things in the moment of expressing ourselves. Come on, all of you have to admit there's things that you type or say and it wasn't quit right hours later.

This is been blown out and it's mostly the lefts way of making birth control their voting message. Now all of a sudden some women think birth control is going to be obsolete.
His apology was worthless and he just had to say he was thinking like them, there was no call for what he said in the first place.

I'm not playing any violins for Rush! He can go straight to H

Number 7! Advertiser pulls out from backing Rush Limbaugh's show even after the "apology"... for derogatory comments about law student who testifed about health policies for women.

Due to complaints on Twitter and Facebook, ProFlowers pulled ads from the obnoxious show, stating these negative responses affected their marketing strategy.

Other six: Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, Citrix Systems, Carbonite and Legal Zoom.

Complaints to the advertisers!
Info and list of some advertisers on topplebush.com as well as addresses to THANK THE ABOVE COMPANIES!
What these advertisers are missing, and I'm guessing they will suffer for it, is that the campaign to have them pull their ads from the Rush Limbaugh show was not conducted by any of Rush's listeners, but by hate filled leftists who wish to abolish freedom of speech.

The words Rush used referring to this activist woman were mild compared with some of the vile words we have heard coming from the mouths of leftist icons, and being used against conservatives like Rush, and others, for simply speaking. These leftists would have all conservative speech silenced.

There was probably not one actual Rush Limbaugh listener that contacted any of these advertisers.

Yet these advertisers have profited quite well from those listeners who have bought their products or services. I know first hand that many of his fans have since dropped their subscriptions or support of these advertisers (Carbonite, for one) for pulling their ads. It is a slap in the face to those who have supported those companies with their hard earned dollars. Freedom of speech is a precious right, not to be trampled on.

These advertisers must realize that to advertise on a forum such as the Rush Limbaugh show is as much a privelidge as it is anything else. Through that venue, they reach literally millions of listeners weekly. It has been said that talk radio is the most effective radio advertising there is, and the Rush Limbaugh show is the most listened to talk show on air, bar none.

But they have chosen to deprive themselves of that opportunity, and that is their choice, by bowing to a relatively small cadre of vocal activists who were in it really for just one purpose: to silence the free speech of Rush Limbaugh, whom they hate. They are opportunists, and this was the golden opportunity.

I doubt any them give a damn about Sandra Fluke, and I would probably be correct to assume that none are customers of these advertisers.

Freedom of speech is at risk in this country, and the left is the enemy of speech.

Wait a minute... who in the first place would not let her speak? which all led up to Rush making his mouth go and then his litany apology

You're quite mistaken about about Miss Fluke and "them" the women in this country do give a damn and will say it at the polls as well as the men.

I doubt any who contacted these companies are actual customers. It's obvious they aren't even listeners of the Rush Limbaugh show. They only knew of his choice of words from the "watchdogs" whose only purpose in life is to monitor such shows, looking for the "golden opportunity" to rid the airwaves of conservative speech.

When these efforts are successful, America suffers.

Leftists hate free speech.
