Default Idaho Nibbles Away At Obamacare

Idaho Nibbles Away At Federal Health Care Act – Tenth Amendment Center Blog

Quote:
“Obviously, we would love to see states simply nullify the entire unconstitutional monstrosity that is Obamacare. But that’s simply not going to happen in Idaho, political realities being what they are,” he said. “So these lawmakers are doing what they can to protect the people they represent. We want the states to throw as many monkey wrenches in the process as possible. And if other states step up and take similar actions, maybe we can stop this federal overreach incrementally. Call it death by a thousand paper cuts.”

Da*n, I LOVE this state.

One of the more appealing aspects, allowing purchase of out-of-state insurance. A chance for the free market to function, rather than Obozocare.

Bill Status: H0587

It's going to get interesting when SCOTUS weighs in on the individual mandate. Without IM to fund it, Obamacare is pretty much dead...and lots of states have been forced to waste lots of tax money in preperation for it's implimenetation.

The Idaho legislature is a bunch of grandstanding goobers. The difference between Idaho and most other states is that the goobers are just a lot less sophisticated.
Good that they finally decided (after much thoughtful debate) that passing laws to use the family pet to lure wolves in order to blow them away was not good PR for the state, so now they have time for more serious grandstanding.

We don't use the family pet for bait...we just go get one from the humane society when the old one is too chewed up.
