Joe Biden is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, maybe the NFL should move the game up to Tuesday so more Dems can enjoy the candidate love fest without missing the game.
Maybe you should learn how to use a DVR and quit yer bitchin'.

Everyone knows he's the nominee.
Given that you started the thread, why wouldn't you take the time to look this up first? It's a little lazy to just start whining about things. The NFL does a lot of things based on ratings. They don't do Saturday football during NCAA season either.

The NFL makes decisions that make it money. They like ratings. They moved the event to another night to maximize economic profits. Capitalism at work. Sadly, the right wingers around here need to whine like children about every little thing.

The NFL is moving the Thursday night opener up to Wednesday because Thursday night is the night Barack makes his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention from Bank of America Stadium. Where he will be spouting the same hatred for the wealthy bankers that he's been spouting for the last 4 years.

Stupid move by the NFL. Just what everyone needs. Another speech from Obama. I'll be watching Seinfeld.
They are moving their game to avoid clashing with a newsworthy event. Dear lord, is the qualification for posting a thread in this forum "copiously eating lead paint chips as a kid"?

You don't get re-runs in your area?

I bet the O'Reilly show on Fox News gets more viewers than Obama that night.
