If republicans hate abortion so much, why would they not support accessible birth control for everyone?

The GOP is stuck on stupid.

Myself and my finance can easily afford birth control and yet we still support the initiative because we understand not everyone can.

Capiche?

Makes no sense, does it?

Well, it's obvious that apple didn't fall far from the tree, isn't it?

Just like her mom. Can't stand not being relevant and not having her name and face out there - just like her mom. Apparently, it's been a little rough for her since her gig on Dancing with the Stars and she now sees an opportunity to be noticed.

I can't believe that anyone is bringing Bristol Palin into the conversation. A young woman, who instead of working hard and earning degrees and scholarships to prestigious schools such as Georgetown, her only claim to fame is the fact that she's Sarah Palin's daughter, an unwed mother going around preaching abstinence, and a former contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

LOL

How did you come to that conclusion? Speaking of misogynistic personal attacks......

What if a woman wants them for sex with her husband, or for medical purposes? Should they start asking people the intended purpose of their sexual acts, before determining whether or not their BC should be covered by insurance? Oh, and we already ARE (and still would be) paying for birth control - through monthly premiums and co-pays, but you guys still can't seem to get that point.

And how exactly is a personal vacation relevant to what one's insurance should or shouldn't cover? I have full medical & dental insurance, so I guess I shouldn't ever go on vacation... even though I'm paying for that insurance, along with co-pays for nearly every "benefit" included.

That won't happen, because it's simply not true - and they know it! Free healthcare, perhaps... but free housing, food & transportation? I don't know a single "progressive" who believes those things should be FREE, and most (myself included) are more than willing to pay for such things themselves.

Just when you thought you’d seen everything.
Poor Sandra Fluke, the 30 year-old far left activist who wants you to pay for her $9 a month birth control, is dating a rich socialist.
They recently traveled to Spain and Italy together.
It was a lovely getaway for the women’s rights activist and her rich socialist boyfriend.
When she is done spending his money she will move on to greener pastures...thats what SOCIALISTS do and are good at SPENDING OTHER PEOPLES MONEY.

As far as I can tell, Bristol Palin's only "issue" that she cares about is herself - just like her mother.

Red her message. It's all about "ME." "What about ME, Mr. President? When are you going to call ME, Mr. President? ME, ME, ME, ME, ME....."

It's obvious she's been coached by her self-absorbed mother.

At least Miss Fluke was trying to bring about change, not just for herself, but for the greater good of other women.

And, besides, maybe someone should suggest to Palin Junior that, perhaps, if anyone ever wages a three day WAR on her, calling her vile and disgusting names and wondering how she can walk because she's getting so much sex and demanding sex tapes for NINE hours straight, simply for trying to bring about change for the better for women who attend a prestigious school (something Palin Junior will never accomplish), then perhaps President Obama will call her, too.
