Bat****Bachmann has a LONG history of making ignorant and inflammatory statements that simply aren't true.

Being a "good christian" doesn't stop her from lying and stirring****.

This is Bachmann, flailing and writhing in disappointment because she couldn't be queen.....

And now is going into Repug scare tactics to get her fellow loony elected.

Maybe a miracle will happen, Bachmann will actually do something CONSTRUCTIVE for Minnesota and THAT would be news.....

For women that would include taking charge of reproduction.
The screamers hear, on talk radio and Fox News would have you believe that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will turn America into the Soviet Union. But the truth is that the ACA, roughly speaking, turn America into Switzerland -- which may be occupied by lederhosen-wearing holey-cheese eaters, but wasn’t a socialist hellhole the last time I looked. There, everyone is required to buy insurance, insurers can’t discriminate based on medical history or pre-existing conditions, and lower-income citizens get government help in paying for their policies.

Regarding government regulations and health insurance:

The right wing acts as if government is regulating health insurance for the first time under Obama. In fact, insurance is highly regulated by government and it's been regulated for a long time. The fact that employer based health care cannot discriminate, drop or charge different amounts to employees is due to the regulations in place for decades.

The only modern nation that I know that has a birth limit is totalitarian China and Bachmann suggesting that a birth limit is coming to a theater near you is pure crazy talk.

The earth has FINITE resources, can only produce so much food and energy. Gas prices being $3.50 a gallon despite our highest amount of domestic oil productione ever should alert you to the fact that we are close to pushing all of the world's citizens into a lower standard of living.

I would those of us with a brain would recognize it is our CHRISTIAN duty to not cause our neighbor to starve to death by having tons of children.

Chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis prenatal tests look for genetic defects in the fetus, and they've been available for years. What, no outrage from Bachmann on this? Because, you know, according to her logic, if health insurance plans cover these procedures, then that means government will soon mandate forced abortions of abnormal fetuses.

Bachmann did not suggest that Obamacare might be used to legally prevent childbirth. What she did suggest - and I agree with her - is that as a cost saving measure there is nothing to stop the Obama administration from imposing a one or two child rule in terms of insurance coverage.

"We'll pay for the first two: you're on your own after that."

Given the fanatical anti-natalist ideology of this administration, the scenario is totally plausible and probably inevitable if he's re-elected. That could easily mean thousands of children and mothers dying unecessarily.
So you know what some mysterious "team" would have said a year ago? I want to hire you to tell me what's going to happen to me for the rest of my life!

Bachman's "hypothetical" just shows that she's in serious need of ECT!

I think that's a great idea actually. People can still have more than two kids. They just won't get any entitlements for the additional kids.
