This is 4th day that residents of Southern Israel have been under attack by rockets coming from Gaza. Over 200 rockets have been fired and children haven't gone to school for the last 2 days. If something like this happened to American citizens, I doubt the American Government would allow to continue without some kind of military intervention. What do you think?

I think that this whole show is part of the Iranian plan to take Israel out. Of course, it could be Syrian too but they have plenty of trouble at home.
Did you notice the first reply to you from the lib? Of course, it had nothing to do with the story other than the noise aimed at making Israel out the bad guy.
This has happened many times and always there was some ulterior motive like what I mentioned. I don't think the Israelis can do more than what they have done, up to now, using air attacks on military looking sites and the sites where they know the rockets are coming from.
Gaza is not a country but then you need things like that to attempt to deflect although you know that the Gaza Strip is a territory recognized by most people, maybe not some American liberals.
Yes. It might help pin-point the problem. Never mind the "classification" of rockets as well.

What is the difference between a territory and a country?

Why are we rehashing this again when ahighways thread was just closed today because it couldn't stay on topic?
שנינו יודעים מה יקרה
But to answer question: What did the US do after 241 Americans were killed in Lebanon by a suicide bomber from Hezbollah? Absolutely nothing.

I think it's not happening to American citizens and is not the responsibility of the American Government.

Iran does not have a plan to take Israel out. War mongers like Bachmann and Newt have repeated that falsehood and engrained it into some peoples heads. They do want to defend themselves against an Israeli attack on their nuclear site. I agree with Iran.

btw - When US, French, and Israeli troops left that area the suicide bombings stopped.
