The Attorney General should not be a controversial individual. The fact that Eric Holder is a political extension of the White House, instead of a non-partisan, good faith upholder of the law, is another reason that he and Obama must go in 2012.
I can't remember the last one that wasn't. Reno and Ashcr*ft were just as controversial as Holder.
Geez...John Ashcr*ft's name is bleeped out too? Damn.
I suggest you tell us why you support Attorney General Eric Holder in his quest to incite a racial war in America via strong-arming states over their desire to uphold integrity in the voting system and their desire to seal our borders.
And this is why there'll never be a non-controversial AG: If there isn't a controversy, one will damn well be invented.

As for voter IDs, the issue is the presumption of voter fraud. Republicans either want to address widespread fraud that they are unable to prove has occurred, or prevent widespread fraud that might occur. There are two different narratives. And the federal government wants to prevent unnecessary obstacles to voting, since voting is rather important in a representative form of government, and any obstacles place additional burdens on certain segments of society.
It's not the "federal government" that wants anything, it is the Obama administration and the Democrats. There are plenty of conservatives in government who want voter ID.
So according to you Democrats want to prevent unneccesary obstacles to voting, such as actually showing that you are a citizen eligible to vote. That's a top concern. But apparently even though it's rather important in a representative form of government, they aren't concerned with ensuring it is done without fraud.
Also funny how they aren't opposed to having to show ID to get a job. They're gung ho about making it easy for them to vote, but making it easy for them to earn a living? Not so much.

They also should not lie under oath, block investigations into criminal activity, refuse to uphold the law, or violate the Constitution. Check, check, chekc, check...

Can you prove that widespread voter fraud has occurred?
A border patrol agent died partially due to a program Holder lied about. He also takes actions based on race. He let the Black Panthers off scott free because of race. Only pathetic, no-moral liberals want him to stay on the job. Add racists to that list.
Which Black Panthers would that be or do you mean New Black Panthers. In that case they did not get off "scott free", in fact they were punished more severely then others whose transgressions were far worse, who were not prosecuted at all.

Absolutely wrong. There's a reason why the Attorney General is appointed by the president, and not a protected civil servant position.
