A 10,000 km range for a missile.
Does the US or Russia even have that?

What a ridiculous article.
It's banging on the war drums, to get the ignorant American populace to accept war, especially the "antiwar" Left who disappeared into the woodwork after Obama was inaugurated.

I don't know what's more dangerous: believing everyone should have nuclear bombs, or believing that only your own country should have nuclear bombs.

Peace!

I just checked, and I found out that the United States has built rockets that went all the way to the MOON.

And more than one that went to Mars.

And at least one that recently went past Pluto, and is still going.

So, yes, I believe they have built rockets that could go 10,000km.

I hope this helps you.

You learn something new every day, eh?

BTW, you remember back in WWII, when Germany was fiddling with some of the very first ballistic missiles. They mass-produced some that could lift a ton of explosives, and fly from the coast of France to southern England, a hundred or more km. And they actually shot off like a thousand of them, causing heavy damage to London and surrounding areas. That was pretty good for 1944.

The Allies called that one the V2. But the Germans called it the A-4.

Well, guess what. That wasn't the only "big" missile they were working on, back before the Allies persuaded them to stop. They had another one they called the A-10, that they never got onto the launch pad, but development was well under way.

Guess who its target was?

It's not so far-fetched to worry about Iran trying to build or buy a missile that can reach the U.S.

The Iranians could smuggle in their weapons here and use them . Not unlikely.

I don't put anything off of the table for our enemies want to destroy us.

Don't think the government has it all under control.. they don't and to believe that is naive.

It is not if, it is when we will have nuclear war on the earth.

Our government if they knew something was going on , they would not even tell us.

We are vulnerable in so many ways today . No government in any part of the world is capable even in natural disasters so we are on our own.

The world has changed and not for the better.

Did you even read the article? It briefly described the claim by Israel, then far more content space was given to American officials expressing skepticism and details on the limitations of Iran's missiles, starting with the line:

"US officials said they believed Yaalon’s assertions were at best premature and at worst badly exaggerated. "

What a ridiculous article.
The mainstay of the US ICBM arsenal is the MinuteMan III, which was deployed in 1970. According to LGM-30 Minuteman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it has a range of 13000 km. Peacekeeper (MX) was deactivated.

I bet if you asked people building bunkers in their back yards during the Cuban Missile Crisis they might disagree.
