In 2008 and gas exceeded $4.25 the economy shut down. The same is about to happen.
For all you puddle jumper drivers poking fun at SUV's remember that while you save a few dollars on gas retail prices, like food, will go soaring and we will all pay those prices regardless of what we drive.

I don't relish high prices for gas, I understand what it will do to the economy (even though I know we have to cut our oil consumption by 50% in our lifetime for our grandkids sake).
But kind of jokingly saying that is one bright spot that I will see fewer Goobers out driving their 4x4's with monster mudders down the road

Haaa we can actually get more people in our big trucks and load it up with more stuff in less trips! And guess what Save GAS!!!!
I just bought a brand spanking new '12 Grand Cherokee. Full time AWD. Remote start even, so I can burn gas when I'm not even sitting in it. But when the dumbass texting rear ends me, he's going to eat alot of trailer hitch and not aa nice, soft crumpling bumper. Sucks for him. And I've never gotten stuck in the snow in 10 years of driving Jeeps. I just pump my gas and drive away.
