Too late. The President already apologized to "the other side".

Did anyone expect them to come out and admit it was a malicious act?

Of course it wasn't malicious.......LMAO! It was pure and utter incompetence, lack of leadership, and stupidity. Malicious intent takes some semblance of intelligence to conjure up a scheme like pissing off a group of people that are willing to blow themselves up over their religious book by actually burning said book. No that type of malice takes atleast some level of 4th grade brain power.

Well the damage has been done. The media blew it all up out of proportion and started riots that got folks killed and you think the ones in the big chairs in DC have blood on their hands?? LOL.

The korans were confiscated and disposed of because the talibon prisoners were using them to transmit messages. These were korans provide to them by the evil US mind you. They were disposed of like most trash that comes out over there I'm sure......burned. Thanks to the so called reporters it turns into a unnecessary debacle.

One very true thing here, dang straight! what the hell does the media not blow our of proportion. And usually with malicious intent, for both sides, they have to friggin sensationalize every bit of news worthy piece. sometimes they are not happy, until they have caused a stir, which is so wrong. Damage already done.

The real guilty person(s) here aren't the ones that burned the books. The Korans and other books were confiscated from prisoners when they were found using them to pass messages. What's wrong with burning as a means of disposal? The guilty parties here are whoever decided to publish the information of their destruction and enflame the superstitious masses over there. It's not clear to me who that is. Were ther Afganis on the base when this took place?

We need to get our troops out and let the Afghan people decide their own fate.
I agree. Let them continue to kill each other. I don't give a damn.

This was a book and nothing more. These same people who are so upset of the burning of ink and paper had no problem loping heads off of christians and jews. They brutalize their own women and children. Their major crop is opium that addicts and kills people throughout the world. These same people burn the American flag and kill Americans. Burnt book, oops, get over it.

We should pull out of Afghanistan ASAP and take our money with us.
