The Pentagon said Tuesday that a joint NATO-Afghan investigation into the burning of Korans at Bagram Air Field has been completed. The investigation found that the “disposal process” of the Korans was improper but was not a malicious act intended to show disrespect for Afghans or Islam.
Koran-burning probe clears troops of malicious intent - Washington Times I guess this still won't stop them from killing our guys...

Exactly as was expected. The burnings weren't intentional. Liberals owe our troops an apology.

It won't matter, the issue they're pissed about is that the books were burned, not the intent.

And this is why it is a fools errand to try and help anyone that is to ignorant to help themselves.
We need to get our troops out and let the Afghan people decide their own fate.

Reason and rationality is scarce in that part of the world. Hellsbells, it's scarce enough in first world countries.

?? Of course those Korans weren't burnt to insult Islam. No American in his or her right mind would think so. These findings are not surprising to anyone (even the Afghans .. who surely don't believe them). Why do liberals owe our troops an apology? Am I supposed to apologize to myself? Why??

I don't recall anyone claiming that the burning was intentional, just incredibly stupid.

WHEN/WHERE did any liberal ever claim the burnings were intentional?

Or should we just be sorry the right's so full of hyperbolic, fabricated BS?

THIS!

The Taliban may want to keep the country rooted in a 13th century culture, ensure women don't work or girls don't get an education. It's not our problem. There is nothing and no one in Afganistan worth the life of another American serviceman or woman. Bring the troops home.
