I suppose there will always be those who encourage and/or support that kind of heathen practice. No advancement in our society. folks.
It's not about prohibiting a practice. Animal sacrifice?? Really, now!
Federal law prohibits the killing of bald eagles in almost all cases. The government keeps eagle feathers and body parts in a federal repository and tribal members can apply for them for use in religious ceremonies.
One can only take away from this comment is that you're for repressing the Native Americans right to practice their religion.
Didnt us whiteys do that already?
And you're ok with it?
Guess you still havent read the link in OP, you know, where the Native Americans got a permit.

They came off the endangered list back in 07. History of the Bald Eagle
Guess you just needed your daily dose of Obama bashing, huh?
This is one of those up is down, down is up. First you oppose placing them on the endangered species list then you turn around and oppose taking them off of it.
Example:
"Nearly 80 percent of endangered species make some or all of their homes on private land," he said. "Endangered species need the willing cooperation of private landowners, not regulations that needlessly drive wedges between them."

And just who do you believe qualified to judge what is a heathen practice and what isn't?
Are animals destined to become Kosher meat slaughtered in the most humane way or according to religious doctrine?
There are probably many other examples but in a thread with the obvious purpose of bashing Obama and nothing else, why bother?

Animals? If people were as outraged over the number of humans sacrificed in avoidable, usless wars of choice as they are over these two Eagles this country would be a much better place than it's become.
