REMF....Really.....since you knew I was even military...you should go back and read what my MOS was.....

Just for all the the non-military people....this supposed military person just called a retired military person a REMF....REAR Echelon Mother FCKER...

With NO knowledge of what I have done throughout my military career....
Either way, we see who is right...and who has no recourse...
I was a Submarine sailor. I know who and what I was, what I did and why. I could care less what someone else says, and if someone attempts to slight you with such idiocy, I would ignore it. Only a small person with a Napoleon complex attempts to denigrate some in such a way.

BTW, I would have completed my 20 and retired, however I was permanently injured, and not due to alcohol or misconduct, and being unable to stand and walk for any length of time, was discharged for the good of the navy. It can happen to anyone. So while I have no clue what you did, or why, or how, I simply say thanx for your service. As for people who cannot be cordial and have to be nasty, disreguard them, they aren't worth your time, or effort.

Congratulations Chucky...you did a fine job of showing folks what I am.

Get back to me when you've spent time on the ground humping a ruck.

I'll spare the rest of the board members the tedium of wading through further banter. Welcome to ignore.

I support concealed carry. I also support a state's right to regulate concealed carry within the framework of the 2nd Amendment.

And as long as the definition of a wack job is clear, I support restricting gun sales to wack jobs.

The reality is that criminals won't obey the law anyway.
That definition of "whack jobs" is a political determination and subject to change over time. If one "whack job" can be denied his Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, so can another who fits someone else's definition of "whack job."

Once you accept the premise that some people can be denied their rights, you open the door to ANYONE being denied them.

I thought the GOP was the party of smaller, less intrusive government. Yet, here is a Governor deciding that only the "right" kind of people will have their Constitutional privileges protected by government.

By any name, that's gun control and no different from what those evil liberals have done in Illinois, except by degree.

Get over it, logic means nothing to Republicans! GWB could've banned ownership of pocket knives and the morons would've blamed the 'socialist left'. Obama could sign a bill allowing anyone and everyone to own fully automatic machine guns, including convicted felons, and the right-wing morons will still bash him being 'anti-gun'.

These idiots dont have a single rational thought, they just listen to their talk-radio and Fox News overlords and repeat verbatim!

Yep, this is what happens when you are unable to answer, I figured that you did not retire....

Humping a ruck....what a stupid analogy....When I'm told this, I just say, well, I Was smart enough to make something of my career when I retired....which I did....

My resume did not say....I humped a ruck....

Either way....don't answer a question get pissed off....and hit "IGNORE" I guess that survey was right.....a liberal is the first one to hit the ignore/UN friend button on websites like this....you fit the bill perfect...

At least they have talk radio, 95% of all liberal talk radio shows fail. Why is that? Nothing to say? Nothing to add? Nothing new? Probably all three.

Now that we have finished being sophomoric and inane,

1. I am probably more constitutionalist than anything, however I vote republican and I think that the governor did the right thing here. I guess that actually tosses your whole post in the wash.

2. Just a bit of interesting reading here -
President Obama's Anti-Gun Agenda Shows No Sign Of Stopping | Fox News

3. I don't believe that felons should own guns. I do believe that carrying works though. Don't believe me? Kennesaw Georgia... They passed a law that required all head of households be armed and ammo'd, unless they were opposed, a felon, or not legal to carry for some other reason. They have one of the LOWEST violent crime rates in the nation, and was rated one of the least stressful cities to live in.

4.

Gun politics in Switzerland are unique in Europe. The personal weapon of militia is kept at home as part of the military obligations. Switzerland has one of the highest militia gun ownership rates in the world. In recent times political opposition has expressed a desire for tighter gun regulations. A referendum in February 2011 rejected stricter gun control.

Knife crime is higher than gun crime in Switzerland.
