The conservatives should be delightfully rubbing their hands together at the thought of war.

The point of a war if you get in one is to win it and declare the terms of peace.
Obama ran around apologizing for us being the greatest nation in earth in an apology tour started even before the election. Not the best qualifications as a President to carry out lunch much less a war.

Oh,you mean it's better to land on a ship with Karl Rove stuck in your codpiece and declare "mission accomplished" and then kill thousands of innocent folks and give trillions to Halliburton/KBR...that's the RWNJ neoCON way to do it....get real

That was the ship's banner and their mission was accomplished.
There is a difference between a mission and a war, maybe I can explain that to you later.
To help you along though, a war has maybe thousands or tens of thousands of missions.

If you REALLY knew the difference, you would know what he said...I doubt you personally can explain anything to me that is out of the scope and range of my knowledge base already, but I do appreciate the thought...it's kind of cute.

Sure, sure, I was born at nite, but it wasn't last nite. We ALL know what message Bush, his cod piece and that banner were meant to deliver. Gotta luv the wingnut history rewrite team, I'm smelling desperation.

They might send "everything they need" for war with Iran, but those familiar with the Pentagon, know well that US doesn't have the resources to fight yet another war, which requires more than Iraq and Afghanistan combined. I don't see anyone (including a potential republican president) sending ground troops on mass to Iran. It is 2012, not 2001. If the current deficit is $14 trillion (?) after such war it will be 100 trillion.

Obamas poll numbers are the same they have been for several months. People see one or 2 polls and assume they are trending downward. But forget that the same day the CBS poll came out gallup had him at 49 percent.....last week it was at 41. And today gallup has him at 43 percent, but rasmussen which had had a week ago at 44 percent now has him at 50. Fox news polling also has him steady at 48 percent. On average though his poll numbers average at 46-48 percent and have for several months. He hasn't ever dipped below 42.5 percent in all these months. So perhaps you should look into polling before you run off about something you seem to know little about . And there was not real backlash due to contraception with the church because most americans have shown they agreed with him. Even in a good economy not enough americans care that the church might be forced to dole out for BC, and surely in this economy near none care.
