Actually, no. Since you all think that the entire media is "liberal" and that only Fox News provides a conservative oasis in a liberal wasteland, you fail to forget that networks ALSO have news:

Total News viewers (8/27/07): ABC: 7,810,000 / NBC: 7,780,000 / CBS: 5,460,000 + Those that tune into the liberal "cable" channels.

Not only that, if "liberals" have more CABLE choices, their audience is spread out over multiple channels, while "conservatives" only have the one channel to pool all viewership into.

So, actually, its pretty sad that ONLY 2 million tune into listen to Fallafel Bill.

It's a pretty vast audience when you consider many people do not have cable but their choice is clear for those that do have cable. The others do not have much choice.

That's a pretty weak excuse. Who "doesn't have cable"? Honestly? The only channels I get when the TV is disconnected is the rotten evangelical, "Send us money and be saved by the Lord" channels. Oh, and the REGULAR Fox network.

But anyway, gloat if it makes you feel better. I found a particulary interesting study for you to ponder. The charts below from the PIPA study show the channel by channel viewership breakdown of those who held misperceptions of the Iraq War:

The University of Maryland Program on International Policy Attitudes (PIPA) Research Center. Released in October 2003 and titled "Misperceptions, The Media and The Iraq War," the researchers from Knowledge Networks in Menlo Park, Calif. conducted a poll with nearly 10,000 respondents. The study was to see the frequency of misperceptions concerning the news coverage on the Iraq War.

Maybe he does. Probably not. BUT, I bet he hasn't yet propositioned a single one of them over the phone for food-in-the-shower sex!!

Can we say the same for "moral arbiter of the nation" Bill O'Reilly?

If only ONE million of his viewers are women, that's a lot of trips to the Middle Eastern Deli to satisfy them all!

I thought people voted with their hands - at the polls. From the most recent congressional elections it would appear to confirm what most analysts and surveys are showing - the country is moving left.

There is a segment of America that likes their dollop of hatred and "liberal bashing" every day, let them have it. Won't mean a thing come election time.

I believe people did not vote so much for liberals but against the Republicans not living up to their supposed core beliefs.......to teach them a lesson.

By the way this thread is about cable TV here. Even on liberal CNN conservative Lou Dobbs beats them all.

So Democrats are all "Liberals" and Republicans are just.... Republicans?

Fine. So the fact that "liberals" have 3 channel choices to watch at any one time, thus distributing their viewership, and "conservatives" have only one, thus pooling their total viewership........ that means absolutely nothing in your book?

So let's talk about radio next. How does NPR fare against "conservative talk radio"?

As a matter of fact, Gradma Frisco and rahm emanuel, took over the senate by running some of the most conservative democrats that have ever been on a ballot, knowing full well that they would be indebted to them if elected and wouldnt have a snowballs chance in Algores climate crisis in ever having any conservative policys see the light of day! Hence the congres's approval ratings are at all time record lows. Not exactly evidence of a sweeping tidal wave to the left!
