You do buy Insurance right?

Depending on a system as fragile as ours, that is responsible for feeding 300 million people is the crazy position.

Self reliance is an American tradition that has always served us well.
the liberals have to laugh it off , for they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them.

Whatever the club people want to associate themselves with, no matter.

This is just plain common sense.

If people can't see the moral and political decay in our society. There is really no help for them.

Blind lead the blind, and they all fall in the ditch (grave).

Yes, it is...as is the entire premise of the thread. Ye gods...Gorbachev was the anti-Christ because of his port-wine birthmark. Y2K was TEOTW.
The apostles believed that Christ would return within their lifetimes. So many disappointed people...

He did return to John the beloved on Patmos, and Stephen when he was martyred.

As in the Days of Noah. That's where we are today.
No, we are not. Wasn't Noah part of the Old Testament? Didn't the New Testament have a different take on things?

So God is giving his message through the survivalists out there with their guns loaded and ready to kill others in a heartbeat?

No. not kill others in a heartbeat. Stand for freedom and righteousness.
BTW.. everyone that is not suicidal is a survivalist. Some survivalist's are even Martyrs.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Putting them at odds is not good.. we have months more campaigning and if Obama is voted out , many may not take it very well.

I wouldn't want to be living in the inner cities to find out.
This could be what comes to fruition. The OWS protests fueled the fire. Look at the violence that broke out amongst those folks when they were just egged on by class warfare rhetoric. Imagine the racial tensions that will be thrown in if Obama were to lose. These folks in power now don't care who they hurt or what crashes and burns in the process of their quest for power IMO. The winter cooled off these protests but you will see them come back bigger, louder and more violent. Just wait until the dem and republican conventions.

Do any of you people remember a guy named Charlie Manson? Do you remember that basically those horrific murders were Manson's attempt to start a race war? Is that man a lunatic or what? Is that what you all are hoping for, riots and a race war? Do you know how crazy you sound?

The "quest for power" seems to be in your heads, so you hope for riots to validate your opinions and your quest for political power.

The old testament is still as prominent as it has always been. The only difference is that Christ has fulfilled the law.

Jesus said there is a time to pick up your sword and a time to lay it down.

Luke 22:35-39 And He said to them, "When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?" So they said, "Nothing." 36 Then He said to them, "But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 "For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: 'And He was numbered with the transgressors.' For the things concerning Me have an end." 38 So they said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." And He said to them, "It is enough." 39 Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him.
