Probably b/c if it happened on the Conservative side, they would blame the organization or someone else. Then the Hannity's & Limbaugh's would rush to their defense and call Blacks the racist for still being offended and trying to trample their freedom of speech rights. Then FOX News would have chimed in and played the false equivalency game and pointed out a time when a Liberal made a harsh criticism about Bush.
Hanks had the courage & respect to apologize for something offensive he was involved in w/o waiting for it to hit his pocketbook or erupt into a media firestorm, unlike each & every Conservative in recent memory that got caught being associated w/ something insensitive.
