The country could get attacked tomorrow and the people on this site would be more concerned about contraception and a candidates stance on pornography..... that is how dumb people have become in America thanks to the tv media

And the tv media also is responsible for putting incorrect numbers that make a certain person look better while failing to report the truth (real unemployment, income etc.)

Think for yourselves lefties

Its not all the people on this site, its the republicans who are more concerned with social issues than real issues. With the economy getting better, they have nothing else to stand on in thier febile minds.

Those "social issues" are part of our CULTURE. Some of us want to protect what has made American great in the past.

Only in the minds of liberals is the economy getting better. If the economy is really as good as you say, let's cut unemployment benefits to 12 weeks.

The problem with this country is ego...everybody things they know what is best for others. Everything should be legalized and taxed. You don't like it, don't participate in that activity.

The economy is getting better. That's just a fact supported by data. Is the economy as good as everyone would like? No. Turning around an economy as large as the USA's takes a long time.

I wonder if one of the reasons labor participation is dropping is the boomer retirements? Retirement would lower unemployment and labor participation. There has been a major uptick in retirements in 2011-2012.
