Les' see 1.32 euro to the $. That means the lower middle class gets the privilege of contributing their fair share of around 42% of the gross income. Seems about right.

You may be right about ACA, but the final definitive answer won't come until June. No one of us can predict whether the Supremes will rule for or against, narrowly, or broadly.

Any fool can see that the medicare program is unsustainable, and will soon suck out the rest of the U.S.' lifeblood. It has to change. it doesn't have to follow any one group's plan, but it does have to change as we know it. Well, most any fool could see it has to change.

It's bad enough that they didn't get a Public Option, but that they put forth this bill that's a gift to insurance companies who have been screwing over people for years and years. People are being forced to give more money to those greedy scumbags.

Either they were too spineless, or they (including Obama) didn't want to get a public option. A near super majority in the Senate, with support across the country, and it just didn't happen. They could have used reconciliation like they did with the current bill, but of course they never addressed why they wouldn't, which is why I say they may not have ever wanted it.

If they would have done what Obama campaigned on, and we had gotten REAL universal healthcare, repeal wouldn't even be a viable option for the Republicans, and the Democrats could have retained the House in 2010.

They had a chance be bring REAL change. A chance save thousands, and FINALLY put middle and lower class minds at ease. Instead we have one of the most massive failures of Obamas administration: no Universal Healthcare.

That's good news!
I'm with your side. I don't think any Americans should get any sort of healthcare unless they pay for it. That saves your tax dollars for better things from which you might benefit.

What services to Medicare patients were or are planned to be cut in the ACA? Answer is none. There is much more to be done to make Medicare continue to be solvent. Cost reductions, perhaps waiting longer til enrollment, Income based Medicare premiums, etc ..... a lot of areas. To my mind, the Ryan plan to end it, is not a good choice. But, if you, or more accurately the GOP like that option, good luck selling it.

That's why they spent millions lobbying against this.
You are right and the law makers are making fortunes taking care of their insurance buddies.
The only people that the Insurance companies want to get health care from them are the well to do healthy ones........

There was MASSIVE opposition to the bill from the public, same as today.

Gosh, I wonder if you even know the candidate you voted for MOCKED Hillary for the idea of a forced mandate? Obama was against the mandate before he was for it.

You're right. Obamacare IS THE WORST political blunder of his term. Oh, the people were NEVER for UHC or the mandate.

Hey, where is your president's plan?

Mr. President, you're conspicuously absent from the 2-year anniversary of your "greatest accomplishment" (described by your VP as "a big f***ing deal"). Concerned citizens around the country recognized the 2-year anniversary of Obamacare by protesting its attack on religious liberty. Oral arguments on Obamacare start next Monday, March 26, before the Supreme Court.
She rightly asks: Where's the party?

I thought obamacare was one of his greatest legislative victories?

The people of America are against UHC because America is not the place for such foolishness. It conflicts with America's collective mentality.

We all know you're not serious with these posts. We all know an obama supporter. For once, why don't you try explaining why you like his policies, like obamacare, even after all the nasty little surprises that have come out..and that YOU were warned about.
