Dave I agree. This is why I say both Liberals and Conservatives do not understand true liberty and freedom. But I find it ironic that the right uses religious freedom to defend Tebow yet push so hard to get a TV show off the air showing Muslims in a good light. In a hypothetical of Tebow being Muslim I think we can all be near 100% certain the right would be screaming for him to keep quiet about his religion.

I was told Obama was a Muslim.

I was told Scientologists are all latent homosexuals.

I believe everything I am told.

OH WELL!!!

Except it's Christians themselves telling us it's a personal relationship...wouldn't they be the ones to know?

How is tebow going down on one knee any different than the people jumping around, throwing the ball into the crowd or players jumping into the crowd? Liberals just need something to be offended by and complain about.

Also, I remember the players that used to get down on one knee and do the sign of the cross back in the 90s, why didn't people go crazy about that?

I think one of the reasons why liberals hate Tebow is his and his mother's stance on abortion.

Let's face it. He's a devisive figure. Next year in NY will tell a lot. Let's see what happens. He's now on a team with an incredibly foulmouthed coach, he's in a second string position, and he's surrounded by ego's that would make Obama jealous. If God really loves him, he'll kick ass. If not, he'll be yesterdays old news.

Let's let things play out on their own, yeah?

New York will Love Tebow if he wins. They will hate Tebow if he loses.

That's what is great about sports.

Unless you're John Elway, then you hate him regardless.. and if you're the fans of Denver you love him regardless

If Tebow was Muslim, then he'd go over really well playing for the Lions...

I remember his coach trying to get him to lay off the fasting during Ramadan by showing him video of how much he slowed down during Ramadan, but Abdul-Rauf refused. He did have some decent years in Denver but overall had a disappointing NBA career and wound up playing in Europe.
Observing Ramadan did not slow Olajuwon down.
