I can't believe it. The whole Zimmerman issue is being used as propaganda. Clearly from when Obama said his son would look like Trayvon, and from the liberal media jumping on this like rabid dogs and promoting it as a white/black issue when Zimmerman is Hispanic In any other case, Zimmerman would be considered Hispanic (kinda like the one drop rule with African-Americans) but not in this case My my how the progressive media is racist to the core. I bet this was deliberate in order to drum up race card support for Obama's reelection. And, of course, the dying dinosaur media needs a new Casey Anthony scapegoat in order to make themselves relevant again. Zimmerman is the new Casey Anthony, let's not kid ourselves. Just another distraction from the issues, and the general public fell for it, yet again. Nevermind about covering stories about corruption, or that an Obama impeachment resolution is circulating in Congress. Let's concentrate on faux manufactured racism instead! Americans are so obsessed about racism, it's so sad.

I feel sorry for Mr. Zimmerman because he is stupid..and I feel sorry for the young man because he is dead. Zimmerman will be put through the legal process...and I hope the system shows mercy for this guy cos' he is just plain dumb.

There needn't be dramatic spatter for blood to get on someone who presumably was underneath someone who got shot in the chest.

If you're suggesting that Zimmerman managed to get up and away from Martin after getting his head bashed on the sidewalk, I'll concede he might escape blood getting on him. But that sure changes the nature of the struggle and account of firing the gun in the heat of the moment with Martin pounding him and trying to snatch the gun, doesn't it?
We are asserting if he was shot as Zimmerman described there would be little to no blood on his clothes due to blood splatter. Folks it's simple physics look it up.

He should be corrected..there is to much punishment going on...jails are full of those being punished...correctional institutions should return to the art of correction...They were originally designed as places of redemption ---not just detention.

It's simple gravity that if Martin was on top of Zimmerman when shot, blood would be on Zimmerman's clothes. Stop talking about "spatter" as if you're in CSI. What you're claiming requires little to no blood loss, unless Zimmerman extricated himself and shot from a distance.

Other reports say the father was a retired magistrate in Virginia, not Florida---

Kristi Wright with the Virginia Supreme Court Department of Legislative and Public Relations wrote us this email in response:

“Robert J. Zimmerman served as a full-time magistrate from 2000-2006. Please be advised that in Virginia magistrates are judicial officers, but they are not considered "judges" and do not possess trial jurisdiction

Zimmerman: Dad worked as magistrate

This familiar entitlement ....may have instilled a sense of power in the shooter..a sense that he did not have to bow to the system...that he IS the law...well...it's not going to help...The Zimmermans are low level and expendable.

The police arrived a few minutes after the initial call - in which time the fight and shooting occurred. Are you proposing that AFTER they arrived on the scene they allowed him to go home and change clothes
