Those Korean store owners can be tough. I still remember one that stood his ground in the LA riots. Bunker on the roof of his store, family ran him ammo.
I don't think they ever did get to him.
Probably got sued by the naacp too...

It wasn't just Korean store owners. I lived in Hollywood, CA during the riots.

There were several storeowners of all races sitting outside stores right on Hollywood Blvd with guns as soon as things started to heat up. It never got out of control in Hollywood.

I have a problem with that statement. These are your fellow Americans. This is America. You make it seem you are talking about some foreign people in a foreign land.
Sure, they may destroy businesses and homes, but guess whose tax dollars will be raised to pay for the damage, even if you never step your nasty feet there?

Your last sentence "destroying your own area".
So blacks have their own designated area?

Most of the businesses in black communities aren't owned by blacks themselves, but by hispanics,Koreans, whites, and a whole host of others. I would say a majority of businesses aren't owned by blacks,so why should they care when these people sell them cheap, overpriced crap?

"Own areas" meaning their own neighborhoods and yes, many did.

Also, they were mad about a black/white issue and yet destroyed the livelihoods of folks that were not black....blind rage, and pulling folks out of automobiles.

By the way, anyone have a link to stats on what percentage of them had their sorry behinds arrested and jailed?

If there is rioting, what will people say? That they expected it to happen, and it's typical black behavior to riot all while ignoring the underlying tensions that racism causes?

It's time to have "the talk" about racism, stereotyping, class and culture in the United States.

Rioting will be the backlash that comes because the problem won't go away by sweeping it under the rug anymore.

Obama should only get involved if(assuming the riot occurs in Florida - and the governor directs the National Guard to restore order) the Florida National Guard is unable to deal effectively with the riot and the United States military is needed to end the civil unrest.

Time will tell.
if this is even BROUGHT to trial, it took thousands of people protesting to even get the DA to even take of the MURDER CASE!!

pretty sick.
