God will know his true believers. He will sort it out.
The blacks in Africa sold slaves to the white people. So why are the black people blaming the white people when there own sold them for profit as property? Isn't that the root cause?
If they blamed everyone equally which the black race does not, this is racism. If a black person is afraid to go out at night for fear of getting shot in their own neighborhood, why is this not profiling , but if a white person fears a black person it is racial profiling.. now what is the difference?
You really should follow your own admonitions. Leave the judgements to God and "love thy neighbor" as you were commanded.
It is a belief that goes against the word of God. Period.
Smarter people than you (and, apparently, your pastor) who actually study the Bible as academia, as well as the context and translations found within take a different view point.
Since there are a few thousand sects of Christianity, all espousing to be thr proper way to be a Christian. You can't ALL be right.
Learn to live with the fact that your own religion is split on this issue, or don't and continue to beat your head against the wall over and over and over.
Why do you conservative Christians make your supposedly omnipotent deity sound like a jealous, bitchy, prudish little whiner who created everything around us because he needed to be worshipped? The Snooki of Gods.
Talk about weak and lame. Christians that espouse the "above it all," benevolent God are so much more interesting and likely to convert.
Really? Point out to me exactly where in the gospels homosexuality is even mentioned? I do remember a lot of Jesus hanging out with the sinners and railing against the self-righteous religious hypocrites of the day, though. I remember a lot about healing the sick, giving to the poor, feeding the hungry, and all sorts of "pinko commie" stuff that the religious right hates. I don't remember any sort of litmus test for salvation beyond believing in Jesus...
There is none, among the letters of paul it's mentioned. But paul never met christ and it's unsure of the relationship he really had with the apostles either.
The amount of human intelligence wasted on religion is staggering. Imagine if it were directed towards something beneficial or useful; what a better place this world would be.

I'm a non-denominational Christian, and this kind of self-righteous bs always gives me a headache.
Don't lump us all into the rwnj camp--it's scary there.
What the.........There's no mosque at ground zero. This has been settled for quite some time, seriously. It's a community center where anyone is welcome, and there has been another one there a few blocks away since the 70s that no one cared about until people decided to become racist and xenophobic after 9/11.
But I digress......Why does it matter if I'm a liberal? Logic is logic, no matter who you are.
Really? Thanks for clearing that up.
Quote:
IS GROUND ZERO the right place for a major new mosque and Islamic cultural center? Cordoba House is a 15-story, $100 million development to be built just 600 feet from where the World Trade Center stood; the plans include the mosque, a 500-seat auditorium, swimming pool, restaurant, and bookstore.
Racist? What race is "Muslim"? Can you clarify? BTW: The only time the words liberal and logic belong in the same sentence is when the word logic is preceded by the words without and any.
